Combining picture books and technology can breathe fresh air into your lessons. We will bring literacy skills, National School Library Standards, and the Digital Learning Integration SOL’s together in engaging lessons from kindergarten to fifth grade. Librarian, Susanne Whitehouse, and Instructional Facilitator of Technology, Pauline Burkett, team up to first hook students through storytelling and then extend lessons using a variety of technologies such as coding robots, Wixie, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WeVideo, and others. The goal is guiding students to Deeper Learning by merging picture books and technology.
