The difference between mediocracy and excellence resides in how we think and letting it drive what we do. Educators who participate in practices of self-reflection can become more connected to their students, their practice, and can become more empowered to make effective pedagogical changes. Students who see their teachers reflecting on their own practice are more likely to reflect on their own learning. In this session, I will provide my testimonial of how video reflection and conferencing have transformed my role as an Instructional Coach using the Sibme App. While the majority of the presentation will focus on self-reflection and the coaching process through video conferencing, video tools and apps will be explored.
