Together, CodeVA and Amazon Future Engineer are collaborating to make Virginia schools CS Ready! In this session, CodeVA staff will provide an informative overview of the Computer Science Ready program. This program takes an adaptive learning approach by focusing on a unique computer science pathway and implementation for each school/division. Walk away from this impactful presentation with an understanding of how to develop computer science leadership capacity in your building, how and why school impact teams are successful, and how your school/division can be agile in the movement towards becoming CS Ready. We will explore a one-year pathway for an individual or group of teachers interested in their school becoming a Computer Science Ready school. You’ll gain a more complete understanding of what a CS Ready school looks like and how you can take the next steps to get started today!
